Treeter is about 2 years old, 43 lbs., and a Shepherd mix (possibly some Labrador Retriever) with the most beautiful face and eyes. She is potty trained, settles down to sleep in her crate, and has lovely house manners – just give her a bed close to you and she snuggles down nicely.
Cass has a great time playing with other dogs. She is a lot of fun as she chases around the field with all her buddies but she manages to take time out to be a "meeter and greeter" as she welcomes everybody in to the group.
Meet "Gala" Needs Foster to complete HW Treatment!!!!
Meet Gala! She's a two year old, 44lbs female Retriever mix. We are so happy to meet this girl. She tested positive for Heartworm disease in a shelter down South and was brought to OPH's attention --- just in time. She's now an OPH dog and has already started life-saving medical treatment. It'll take her a couple of weeks to recuperate, but don't let that stop you from meeting her and putting in an application to adopt. This sweet girl is motivated to find a family!
.He loves to be petted and to get belly rubs. He gives kisses, leans against you and thinks he's a lapdog. He enjoys being in his "den," otherwise known as a crate, and is content there and sleeps through the night.
Rhubarb needs someone to help her trust the world again and transition from a dog trying to survive to a pampered pet. She will make a great companion given a bit of tender loving care. After a few minutes getting to know you, she is super sweet and loving.
I recently found myself alone in a rural southern shelter, but after hearing what an amazing boy I am, Operation Paws for Homes brought me all the way up here to help me to find my new furever home. I am so happy, this new adventure has been great!
Briar is only about 10 months and weighs 25 pounds. The other day she woke up to a whole new world. And she is a bit wide-eyed taking it all in and would love someone to introduce her to it one adventure at a time. Because of her young age, her new family will need to give her a little extra guidance and exercise
This sweet girl is Marietta. I do not know the full story of her past, but she ended up in a shelter along with 8 puppies. This sweet girl knows how to sit, shake, and walks great on a leash. She is great around my kids.
